Welcome to the official website of Circuit Breakers, a team of talented and dedicated students who are passionate about robotics and engineering. We are a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team that competes in local and regional competitions, where we showcase our skills and knowledge in designing and programming robots.
At Circuit Breakers, we believe in the power of robotics to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. Our team is made up of students who come from different backgrounds, but share a common goal of building the best robot possible and competing at the highest level. Our team members come from various schools in our area, and we all share a passion for engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Our team has been competing in FTC for several years, and we have gained a reputation for excellence both on and off the field. We have won numerous awards, including the Inspire Award, which is the highest award in FTC and recognizes teams that embody the spirit and goals of FIRST. We have also won awards for our engineering design, programming, and outreach efforts, which are an important part of the FTC program.
At Circuit Breakers, we believe that the key to success in FTC is not just about building a great robot, but also about working collaboratively with our team members and other teams, learning from our mistakes, and continuously improving our skills. We believe that every member of our team has something valuable to contribute, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Our team is led by our captain, Nikhil Doma, and our co-captains, Sharan Thangaraj and Abhinav Nadupalle, who have been involved in FTC for several years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in designing and programming robots. They work closely with our mentors, who are experienced engineers and educators, to help guide us through the design and building process.
The Circuit Breakers are more than just a robotics team - we are a community of students who are passionate about STEM and about making a difference in our world. We believe that robotics can be used to solve real-world problems, and we have undertaken several outreach projects to help inspire and educate others about the power of robotics. Our outreach projects have included giving presentations at local schools, hosting robotics workshops for students, and participating in community events.
As a member of the Circuit Breakers, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in engineering, programming, and teamwork, and to make lifelong friendships with like-minded students who share your passion for robotics. You will have the opportunity to compete at the highest level in FTC, and to make a positive impact on your community through our outreach projects.
We regularly update our social media accounts with news, updates, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of our robot-building process. We also share photos and videos from our competitions and outreach events, so be sure to follow us on all platforms to stay up-to-date with the Circuit Breakers.
